THE FIRST DROP, HAS/BEEN HIGH
HAS/BEEN HIGH
Every collection begins with a story. This one began in high school, during a time when we both felt like the world had already decided who we were. Not chosen, not noticed, and not expected to become much. For one of us, that meant finding a place in the corners of high school culture: the clubs, the hobbies, and the rooms people passed by without looking in. For the other, it meant looking back at who he used to be and deciding that version didn’t get to define him.
Different lives, different struggles, same feeling. We knew what it felt like to be underestimated, labeled, and placed into a category before we had the chance to become anything else. Society saw us as black sheep: different, overlooked, easy to dismiss. But that label was never the full story.
The wolf in black sheep’s clothing became the symbol of this collection because it represents what people failed to see. Underneath the label was ambition, hunger, instinct, and the quiet refusal to stay where we had been placed. People saw the outside and assumed they knew what we were, but they never saw what was building underneath.
HAS/BEEN HIGH was built around that realization. Being underestimated can change you. For a while, you believe it. You shrink, you settle, and you become what people assume you are. Until one day, you don’t. This collection represents the moment you stop living like your old label is still true, because who you were is not who you have to stay.
Every graphic, every color, and every detail was chosen with intention. HAS/BEEN HIGH is our story, but our hope is that when you wear it, it reminds you of your own beginning: the version of yourself you’ve outgrown, the obstacles you’ve overcome, and the person you refused to remain. Becoming someone new doesn’t happen by forgetting where you started. It happens by recognizing how far you’ve come.
They saw the black sheep. They missed the wolf.
